Zoë Brigley Thompson is a native of Wales but is now Visiting Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University where she works in Literature and Sexuality Studies. She has two award-winning poetry collections published in the UK: The Secret (2007) and Conquest (2012). She also edited the volume Feminism, Literature, and Rape Narratives (2010). She won an Eric Gregory Award, the Derek Walcott Prize, a Welsh Academy Bursary, and was listed for the Dylan Thomas Prize for the best world writers under 30. She has published or is forthcoming in magazines like The Manifest Station, Poetry Ireland Review, Poetry Review, Calyx, The Manhattan Review, and Women’s Studies Quarterly.
